Russian Post and VTB signed an agreement in Vladivostok on the establishment of a joint venture in the field of logistics in the course of the Eastern Economic Forum 2018.
The main goal of the project is to speed up the delivery of goods ordered via the Internet. To this end, the joint stock company "National Logistics Technologies" will be formed, which will have to deploy a network of logistics centers throughout Russia.
Infrastructure is created to serve both Russian and foreign participants of the Internet market. A key element of the new logistics enterprise will be a three-tiered system of 38 logistics centers with a total area of more than 400,000 square meters.
The launch of these centers, according to representatives of the "Post of Russia", will ensure delivery of goods to the public on the next day after ordering goods online in all major cities in the country and every other day in regional centers. For three years, the Post of Russia and VTB will invest 10.19 billion rubles in the project.
