Our Kim Korshunov continues to talk about the most interesting novelties presented at CES 2018 in Las Vegas. In the last video we watched the flying taxi Volocopter in the new clip – the electric crossover Byton.
Byton is making the natives of BMW together with Chinese engineers. The coolest is the interior. In the front part is installed a huge display in the entire width of the panel – it is controlled by gestures and displays information from on-board systems and a variety of content. Another 8-inch screen is built into the steering wheel, in the head restraints of the rear passengers also have individual displays.
Issue Byton is planned in two versions – with one or two electric motors. In the first case, the power will be 272 horsepower, and on one charge the car will travel up to 400 km, in the second case – 476 horsepower and power reserve up to 520 km. Both versions will have an autopilot – the car will be able to drive by itself.
The Byton crossover will hit the market in 2019, its price will be from 45,000 dollars (about 2.5 million rubles).
