Acer company at the end of last year released just three gaming laptops. We already did an overview of the monstruosonic Acer Predator 21X now our Volodya Borovoj will tell about the relatively budgetary Predator Helios 300 and the thin Predator Triton 700.
Acer Predator Helios 300 is made in plastic body and weighs 2.7 kg. It is equipped with a 17-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. As the processor can be installed Intel Core i5-7300HQ or i7-7700HQ, video card – GTX 1060 or 1050 Ti. The volume of the RAM can be from 8 to 16 GB, for data storage there are SSDs up to 512 GB and HDD for 1 TB.
The Predator Triton 700 is based on NVIDIA Max-Q technology. The thickness of the notebook's case is 18.9 mm, weight – 2.6 kg. It has a 15.6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor with a clock speed of 2.80 GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 or GTX 1060 graphics card, depending on the configuration.
The maximum amount of DDR4 memory is 32 GB. A SSD of up to 1 TB is reserved for data storage.
Two AeroBlade 3D fans and five heat pipes are used for cooling, some of which are visible under the glass plate at the top. The surface of the glass plate is sensory – it acts as a touchpad. The keyboard here is mechanical and equipped with RGB-backlit keys.
Acer Predator Helios 300 can be purchased at a price of 67 000 to 110 000 rubles, Acer Predator Triton 700 is sold at a price of 150 000 to 270 000 rubles, depending on the modifications.
