Review of the large Yamaha Fazer helicopter

Kim Korshunov, editor-in-chief of the "Miracle of Engineering", continues to tell about interesting novelties from the CeBIT 2017 exhibition in Germany. In the last issue – Toshiba notebook Portege X30-D in the new video – drone Yamaha Fazer RG2.

Novelty is a drone, the design of which is similar to traditional helicopters. The failure of the batteries in favor of the gasoline engine made it possible to achieve good flight results. Without refueling, it can fly about 90 kilometers for 100 minutes at a maximum altitude of 2.8 kilometers. The speed is 72 kilometers per hour.

At the same time, the drone raises up to 35 kilograms of cargo. The range of applications in the industry is quite wide. You can use it, for example, for rescue operations, delivering food to hard-to-reach places or surveying the terrain with the recording of photo and video materials. He is also able to help in agriculture by spraying plants.
