Review of the new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon sixth generation laptop received a 13-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 or 2560 × 1140 pixels with support for Dolby Vision HDR technology, depending on the bundle. As the processor installed Intel Core Kaby Lake eighth generation, the maximum amount of RAM – up to 16 GB. For data storage, a SSD drive with a maximum capacity of 1 TB is provided.

It is interesting that the webcam can now be closed with a special mechanical shutter ThinShutter. Also in the laptop there is a fingerprint scanner, the company's TrackPoint and a 180 degree opening mechanism for the display. Weighs the novelty of 1.13 kg.

For the sixth generation ThinkPad X1 Carbon in Lenovo have made a docking station with a variety of different ports and kensington lock. You can leave it, for example, in an office with a connected periphery, and then quickly install the laptop in the dock.

The official Russian price of the laptop is not yet announced, but you can target 100 000 rubles or more.
